September

Where has the month of September gone? It has been a little while since I have blogged so I thought I would catch up on what we have been up to! Cass spent Sept. 18th-22nd in Las Vegas cheering on the Cyclones and experiencing all of the sights of the city that never sleeps. It was his first trip to Vegas so he really enjoyed his long weekend there! While he was gone Caden, Kinsie and I spent a few days at the farm with my sister and her family (my parents were also in Las Vegas!). Caden did a lot of farming with his Uncle Tory and we spent a lot of time with both sets of my grandparents, so it was a nice weekend.

Caden has been in preschool for one month now and he is really enjoying it. It is funny how the first week he did not want me to leave him and now he can't wait for the teachers to open the classroom door so he can run in and play! Kinsie is a very busy little girl and surprises us every day with something new that she is doing. Her latest trick is shaking her head "no" adamently letting us know what she does and does not want! She is also starting to talk a lot more and the conversations that Caden and she have are very entertaining!

Here are some pictures that we have taken this month!

We went to an ISU volleyball game and Caden thought it was so cool that Cy was in the band!

Cheering on the Cyclones

As a special event for Saturday's game members of the Lil' Clone Club were invited on to the field to cheer on the team as they took the field. Caden thought it was very cool to get so close to the team!

This is a picture of the section of the field where Cass and Caden were standing.

This photo is a bit blurry because I had to zoom in with my editing program to get a close up picture of Cass and Caden on the field.

Game Day

Saturday was our second home football game of the season and it was the perfect day for a game! We had such a great time with all of our family and friends! And the Cyclones getting their second win of the season was a great ending to a perfect day!
Kinsie squealed with delight when she saw the opportunity to run free in the wide open parking lot! I wish I had audio for this picture because she learned to say "cheese" this week and was saying it as she flashed this wide grin!

Kinsie made a stop on our friend Brian Coen's lap to rest for a while.

Preschool

Today was a very big day for us as it was Caden's first day of preschool! He will be attending a 2 year old preschool program for two hours, two days a week. He was very hesitant this morning when Cass and I dropped him off, but when I picked him up two hours later he was very excited to tell me about his morning. His teachers said that he was very independent and inquisitive and was very interested in knowing when they would get to paint...very important in his mind!! I am so proud of our little guy!

GO CYCLONES!

Cooler temperatures, the smell of BBQ and a sea of cardinal and gold...it's time for Cyclone football! Yes, it's football season and time for us to spend our Saturdays (or in this case, our Thursday) at Jack Trice Stadium watching our beloved ISU football team! Saturdays at Jack Trice have become a family tradition for us, with our family having 14 season tickets. Caden and Kinsie have been going to the games since they were both infants, so having grandpa and grandma's rv there is such a lifesaver and makes tailgating much easier!

These are a few pictures from Thursday night's game against South Dakota State...a win!! Saturday will be here before we know it and we will have more pictures to share!
