Kinley is 5 Months Old!

Our little sweetie will be five months old tomorrow! Kinley is growing and changing every day and we are enjoying every new moment with her! She has the most content, happy personality, only getting upset when she is hungry or needs some attention, which her brother and sister are more than happy to provide her! They are so sweet to her! She is doing great with eating rice cereal, is rolling over, smiles, laughs and "talks" to anyone she can, and is doing very well with sitting up with some assistance. We are looking forward to celebrating her first Christmas with all of our family!

Holiday Pictures

We had our family pictures taken on Friday. These are a few of our favorites!

Yum!

Kinley reached a new milestone on Monday by having her first taste of rice cereal!
I wish we would have taken some pictures of how excited Caden and Kinsie were about this too! After helping Cass put together the new seat, Caden got out a bowl and a spoon for Kinley! And then both Kinsie and he pulled up chairs right next to her to see her first taste of cereal!
A special thank you to Papa and Grandma Terry for her early Christmas present of a new highchair seat...she loves it!

Hmmm...what is that new thing mommy has?

I think I need to test this out first!

Yum! I think I might like this stuff!

November

It is hard to believe that today is already December 1st! The month of November passed by very quickly and Christmas is just around the corner! Here are some pictures of what we have been up to lately.

Caden loves to cuddle when he is sleeping and often has a difficult time going to sleep at night by himself. Before going to bed one evening I went to check on the kids and found him asleep with Kinsie in her bed! The funny thing is that Kinsie is very particular about where she sleeps and who sleeps with her so if she knew this was happening she probably would have tried to kick him out!!
Kinley turned four months old on November 20th! Time is passing by so quickly and we are loving every moment with our baby girl! From the day she was born she has always been a little mover and now that she is growing she moves even more! Her little legs and feet are always moving, which makes it very difficult to keep socks on her! She loves to smile, laugh and talk and her face instantly lights up whe someone talks to her. She has also started grabbing for objects and brings them straight to her mouth to be explored! Her head and neck muscles are very strong and she prefers to be sitting up. I can't say enough about what a happy, content and sweet little baby girl she is!

Kinsie's current favorite play time activity is to play dress-up! She will disappear for a little while and then will emerge from her room dressed from head to toe in one of her outfits! On this particular morning she felt like being Snow White!

November 23rd was Caden and Kinsie's fall feast at school. Before leaving I was able to snap a photo of our three cuties together!

Kinsie enjoying her Thanksgiving meal at school.

Caden showing off his turkey headband and the place card holder that he made. It says, "I am thankful for my grandma and grandpa"!

Kinley joining Caden at his table!

Our smiling sweetie!
She loves being able to sit in the bumbo chair and be in the mix of what we are all doing!

Kinley reached a very big milestone on Friday evening when she rolled over for the first time! This is the position that she was in when she started trying...

and this is how she ended up! I was so excited watching her that I didn't get a picture of her actually in motion! She rolled once from her back to her front and then every time we placed her on her stomach she would roll back over to her back! It was so fun to watch and even Papa Curt and Grandma Terry were there to see it!

The kids and I had a lot of fun on Monday decorating the Christmas tree. Kinsie's method was to place all of the balls in one spot!

Caden did a great job with his side of the tree, but as you can see he thought the pictures would turn out better if he hid from the camera!

Kinley was very entertained watching us decorate and loves to see the sparkling lights on the tree!
