Kinley's 6 Month Pictures

I took Caden, Kinsie and Kinley to have pictures taken today for Valentine's Day and to mark Kinley's six month birthday. I was so happy with the way they turned out!

Our baby girl is growing up far too quickly!

She turned six months this past week and is growing

and changing every day!

At her six month well baby check-up she weighed 15 lb. 6 oz. and is 25 inches in length.

She is such a happy baby and loves exploring all of her toys. She is also rolling all over, which has become a challenge for Caden and Kinsie to keep their toys picked up! She loves baby food and has even taken some sips from her sippy cup. She unfortunately experienced her first ear infection two weeks ago, but has bounced back and is doing great!

Christmas

We were very blessed to spend time with all of our family during the holidays. Our first celebration was with the Smith family at Grandma Rena's home.

It snowed two days before Christmas so the kids had a lot of fun playing outside

at Papa and Grandma's house on Christmas Eve day.

Having a snowball fight with Papa Curt! Kinsie and Adden were inside the house watching through the window, but that did not stop Papa from including them in the fight...he through some snowballs at the window, which surprised us all!

had found them at Papa and Grandma's house!

and Grandma Twilla joined us at mom and dad's house for the day. We

while everyone opened their gifts!

We then celebrated with the Richard's family that evening.

On the Sunday after Christmas we celebrated

the holiday with the Lininger family.

Kathi treated us all to a stay at the Ramada Inn waterpark

Catching Up!

Once again time has passed by far too quickly! It seems that I have begun each of my blog postings with that same theme over the past few months! Although the month of January is coming to an end I thought I would take a look back at what we were up to during the Christmas holiday and the New Year.

The week before Christmas we took the kids to Valley West Mall to see Santa and ride the train. You will notice that there are no pictures of Santa...Caden and Kinsie decided they would prefer to wave to him from afar instead of sitting on his lap!
We had never decorated a ginger bread house before with the kids so I thought it would be a fun thing to do this year! As you can see, the construction was all up to Daddy!

Caden and Kinsie both participated in the Christmas program at their preschool. It was very special us to see both of them taking part in the program together. Caden played the part of one of the kings and Kinsie's class sang along with the songs. They were both very excited to have Papa and Grandma there to watch!
