Caden, Kinsie and I were invited by a friend to visit the Waukee Fire Station yesterday. The kids had a great time touring the fire station and learned a lot about fire safety! They also received fire hats and badges, which they thought was very cool!

The kids had the opportunity to climb into and explore the ambulance,pumper truck and fire engines.
The firemen gave an excellent educational presentation to the kids about fire safety. 
The kids had the opportunity to hold the fire hose while the water was pumped through it. Caden thought this was very cool!
The highlight of the morning was taking a ride in the fire engine!

Caden looks like he is listening so well to the firemen! How lucky to get to go visit and check out all the stuff at the firestation!!
