Iowa State Fair

The Iowa State Fair has come and gone for another year! My parents generously opened up their RV to us again this year (thanks mom and dad!) and we were able to spend a lot of time out at the fair. I have decided that this is the only way to see the fair! We were able to go down in the mornings, take in some activities and then spend the afternoons resting in the RV...that is my kind of camping!! The weather was also absolutely beautiful, which made it that much more enjoyable!
My parents took Caden and Kinsie through the Little Hands on the Farm on the first day of the fair and they ofcourse loved it!

The fair has so many sights and activities to offer, but all Caden wanted to do was to check out the farm machinery! He has created quite a wish list of machines that he would like to have!

Caden loves blue New Holland tractors and he thought this one was very big!
Notice the little boy in the wheel!

Checking out the ducks and geese at the DNR pond.
One of our favorite entertainers at the fair is the group Vocal Trash.
The kids loved them again this year!

Checking out the baby ostriches in the Animal Learning Center.

Caden and Kinsie enjoying some quiet time in Grandma and Papa's RV.
