Christmas Eve

Each year we try to spend Christmas Eve in our own home so we can wake up on Christmas morning there. But this year the weather made some changes to our plans. We did not want to miss being with our family on Christmas so we traveled to the farm a couple of days early. It was so nice to spend some extra time with everyone and for the kids to be able to play together. On Christmas Eve day I decided to make sugar cookies with all of the kids. They each had their own bowl with their choice of frosting. They did a great job with the cookies and loved eating the leftover frosting when they were done!

Papa and Grandma had a special gift for the grandchildren to open on Christmas Eve. Each family received a copy of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" that was narrated by Grandma Terry. The kids love hearing here voice reading the story to them.
