The theme at our library story time yesterday was "Frogs, Toads and Salamanders Oh My!". A naturalist from the Dallas County Conservation department presented the lesson using stories, songs and a fun craft activity. She even had a real salamander for the children to see and touch. Kinsie did not think much of the salamander, but Caden loved touching its sticky, slimy tail!

Isn't it funny how different boys and girls are!!! I'm with Kinzie, I don't like slimy things either! The egg coloring pictures are so sweet! They took their project very serious!!
